The Greek for the word ‘baptizo’ means to immerse, plunge, dip, or bury in water. The very Greek word itself excludes it from meaning “sprinkling.” A person can not be baptized in a little candy dish of water if you are going to be Biblically correct. These people should be called back and be baptized the way the Bible instructs. It will be noted that the mode of baptism is used in the definition of full water immersion.
