Even those who are mature in prophetic ministry still seem to have some difficulty with timing. The Lord’s timing is definitely different than ours.

The Lord gave me a vision of revival for North America during the weekend of Pres. Bush’s inaugural. I have been looking for the start of revival ever since. I have expected it to begin during his
presidency though timing was not really part of the vision.

For several years now, and with growing intensity I have heard prophetic words like these for the body at large ( many times, prophets, and places). I think it is an unfolding of a large movement due to the continued message and broadcast fashion it seems to have.

Years ago, I had also received “In a rather spectacular fashion, the Lord told me about a major world-wide harvest that was to begin ’soon’ ” the same as you, with the same time indication -”soon”.

At this point my experience with what the Lord means as “soon” is that it is something imminent that needs spiritual attention on our parts, a preparing and an aware waiting on Him. It seems that there can be postponement of such things by our ignorance of our part of the task.

If it sounds conjectural, it is, as I have wondered why so much delay ( as I consider delay) in the manifestation of something that God impressed so powerfully on my mind and heart.

What I am sure of is that the message of the coming of such things is sure. Just not our understanding of how the timing of it works.
