This is such an honorable and vitally imperative ministry. Timothy exhorts us, 1 Tim 2:1-6: Timothy exhorts us, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;

2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;

4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
Thank you for this effort, and I think we should continue indefinitely.

“Many of those involved probably didn’t vote for Obama but believe that it is important to pray for our presidents and for God’s guidance and protection.” Very well said! Amidst the swath of commentaries comparing Obama to the anti-Christ who will destroy Israel, it’s so refreshing to hear a voice of reason arising from the Christian community!
