Thanks for your insights Carl. Some good observations.
Evangelists always seem to be a one-man show for sure.
However, I do believe that the church is not well served by 'lone rangers' who are unaccountable to anyone or under some sort of leadership covering or organization.

Lesson #2: The one-man show is over.
I really thing that this "one man show" argument is unbiblical. I guess Peter was a one man show on the day of Pentecost.
I don't see Grady's column written by a presbytery. Is his column a one man show? Is this blog a one man show? No, they are jobs and ministries. Todd has a healing anointing. He had healing meetings. If people did not like that they should ask God why others did not walk in the same anointing.

The greatest disappointment to me was that it remained a one-man show that fell apart when the one man fell. I had hoped that it would just be the beginning of a move...

I said from very early on that this was not a Toronto or corporate revival. Todd had a great increase in anointing and lots of people came to his meetings. You had to know that unless he was going to plant a church in Lakeland (which it seemed that he was going to do) and pastor every service, this was not going to be a sustained revival.

Go back to the archives and watch any meeting he did not lead. They weren't any more anointed then most other meetings in a Spirit-Filled church.

Benny Hinn has this figured out. He has crusades, manifests his gifts and moves on. One man show? maybe, but it is what it is.
