The Muslim month of Ramadan for 2015 began the evening of June 17 and ends in the evening of July 17. This is a really good time to pray for Muslims if you know any or to pray in general for Muslims to find out the truth about Jesus Christ.
Ramadan is a whole month in which Muslims seek and pray to Allah and try to be pious and faithful to their religion. In recent years hundreds if not thousands have come to Christ through dreams and visions of Jesus and angels particularly during this time.
It is also a time to pray against the enemy who causes many Muslims to rise up and kill and persecute Christians and others in the name of their religion and false understanding of God and the truth. This is a time that they seeking God in their lives let this be a time when they find the truth and a true understanding of God and his Word.
Here’s a link to a good article about Ramadan from the Christianity Today. The writer also calls on Christians to pray for Muslims during this time:
What if Christians fervently prayed during the month of Ramadan that God would reveal himself to Muslims in this time of seeking? What if we covered millions of fasting Muslims with 30 days of intense intercession that something would happen in their spiritual search? Believing in the power of prayer, could we not expect God to respond to our heartfelt burden for the lost millions of the world?
…Rather than hardening our hearts and dismissing their lostness to the judgment of God as something they deserve, we should plead for their hearts to be open to God revealing himself.
Join me this month in praying for Muslims in our own communities as well as those around the world. Pray that they would truly seek God and be open to revelation that would lead them to the truth. In seeking Allah, an impersonal deity that is aloof and cannot be known, may they find a loving, compassionate God who revealed himself through Jesus Christ and died for their sins.
