We have posted about this several times and noted in the past that many Muslims come to Christ through dreams and visions of Him during Ramadan.

Here is the latest report from Charisma:

Evangelists working in the Middle East say that Muslims are currently coming to Christ at a rate that has never been experienced before in spite of all of the increased persecution that new Christians are experiencing. Read the article it is really encouraging.            *Top

Yesterday morning I attended the Marketplace Prayer group at our church as usual. During the worship I had a remarkable vision of the ministry of  St. Patrick:

I saw him walk into the center of a village and challenge the pagan priests to a test of power. He called for the people to bring all of their sick to him. Then he asked which ones the pagan priests had been paid to heal but didn’t. Then I saw him pray for those first, heal them and later heal all the rest.

Then I saw him walk around the entire parameter of the village praying for a hedge of protection around it casting out all demons and calling for God’s protection over the village against attacks from snakes, vermin, and devouring animals.

Following the vision I asked the Lord what meaning it might have for us. Then I immediately saw a picture of myself circling the parameter of my own property praying, and stranger still praying over my check book.

Later that morning Pastor Mike and others started talking about how we are in the midst of a battle and that we need God’s protection over our jobs, businesses, and over everything we own. The enemy wants to steal and devour. I then told the group about my vision.

Afterward another bother leaped to his feet and told us how just the day before a snake had crawled up on his porch and he had prayed for protection over his family. Then the Lord’s told him that it was a sign in the natural that he and his were really under a spiritual attack from the enemy. He related how he had circled his entire home and property praying for God’s hedge of protection.

After the prayer meeting I immediately went home and circled my entire home and property praying for a hedge of protection over my family and everything I own. Then I went on to work.            *Top

We have talked about the hidden revival among Muslims before.

Although on the front pages of the world media, radical Muslims seem to dominate the news with terrorist acts and promises to take over Europe and eventually put America under the yoke of sharia law, here is the latest report from Charisma magazine about the ‘tsunami of faith’ miraculously bringing thousands of Muslims to Christ:

“…a tsunami of faith is quietly overtaking the Muslim world. Islamic adherents are laying aside their allegiance to Muhammad to follow Jesus Christ, despite the social ostracism, persecution and possible martyrdom that converts to Christianity face. Propelled by dreams, visions and miracles, this wave of revival is bringing vast numbers of Muslims—some say millions—into God’s kingdom.”

The article ends with this plea for Christians to pray with their Muslim brothers:

Prayer is vital. However, three converts in Egypt told Janssen that Christians in America should pray "with" them, not "for" them.

"If you pray for us, you will pray for our safety, and the persecution will stop," they told him. "If you pray with us, we can be sure the persecution will increase. Pray we will see millions [come] to Christ. We know there will be backlash. Pray we will be faithful, even if it costs us our lives."

Here’s an account of a vision that Barbara J. Yoder had in 2006. It is very similar to one I had in January 2001:

“…it was as if I were taken up into the sky to the altitude where jets fly. I looked down at the United States and saw that there were very few lights on anywhere in the nation. The whole nation looked like very rural or remote places I had flown over. There was one light here and another light there, far removed from each other.

However, as this army galloped across the nation, lights began to turn on in the places that the army was moving through. Furthermore, the lights remained on in the places they had already passed through. The lights increased in number until the cities and towns across the nation were completely lit up. It was as if a massive fire had been set that engulfed entire areas. …

The further they advanced, the more lit-up the nation was, until there were huge areas where the lights had become contiguous. What had been dark was now fully lit. I looked down on almost blindingly bright cities, towns and even rural areas.

The Lord said, “This is My army.”

That is what I am looking forward to in 2010 just like I have since my own vision in 2001:

I remember like it was yesterday sitting upstairs watching TV in my bedroom when all of a sudden I was above the earth which seemed to be covered in a mist of darkness and deception. Then I saw Jesus coming with an army and he blew the darkness away like a fog and the army descended on North America.

At the beginning there were only a few scattered lights across America but soon more began appearing like popcorn popping until there were 1,000 of lights in in the US and Canada. Then I saw a tidal wave forming up on the east coast of Canada and New England and sweep across the Atlantic engulfing all of Great Britain and wash up on the North Western shores of Europe.

Then I was back in my room watching TV once more and I heard the Lord speak to me in my spirit:

“This is my coming revival”

Here is something I wrote in August 2008 and it still reflects what I am looking forward to:

I’m Still Looking For Revival

Myself, I am still looking for revival to sweep across all of North America and affect 100’s of churches in hundreds of different places all at the same time. Then like a tidal wave engulf the UK and wash up on the shores of France and Northwestern Europe. A revival coming soon near you.

A revival that crosses all the man-made divisions and denominations. A revival with no ’superstars’ to elevate or tear down. A revival that looks to Jesus, engages culture, and brings repentance and change. A revival with lots of healing, that brings folks closer to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

So many are looking for Jesus to come for his church, I’m looking for him to come to it. Come to it? What exactly does that mean? I’m not entirely sure what that means except it’s a ‘word’ that I keep hearing in the Spirit and the church is going to get closer to Jesus and his people will hear his voice in a profound way.

I look for a revival that will bring with it ‘a changing of the guard’ and a whole bunch of new young leaders.  A revival that will change the face of the American church–the end of ‘churchianity’ and the beginning of greater outreach to the community.

This is what I was looking for when the Lakeland outpouring started and had hoped it would be the beginning of. In spite of all the controversy and division in the aftermath, I am still looking for revival…

I say, Come Lord Jesus and surprise us!

It is my prayer that the Lord comes with his army in 2010 and brings his revival. Come Lord Jesus.

We really should be celebrating St. Patrick’s Day because he started a major revival that ended up converting an entire pagan nation to Christianity. Not only that, it all happened before there were any denominations, so the Catholics can’t exclusively claim Patrick for themselves–he was a Christian period!

But who was this Patrick anyway? A man born into a Roman Christian family in Wales around 385 AD with a given name of Macwyn Succat. He didn’t make it to Ireland until he was kidnapped at 16 and enslaved by Irish bandits. After six years of service he heard a voice from God instructing him to escape slavery and make it back home.

He did miraculously escape and went on to study at a Christian seminary to become a Priest. Then had a vision from God to return to Ireland as a missionary.

There were really no Christians at the time in Ireland and he singlehandedly established the church in that country while refusing tribute and support from the noblemen and kings. He converted and baptized thousands of pagans, and ordained hundreds of Priests and set up an untold number of Christian communities and churches. Not to mention the signs, wonders, miracles and healings that followed.

Patrick started a revival that converted an entire nation to Christ. Now that’s something to celebrate about!            *Top

Amin said he became aware of Jesus Christ after dreaming that a figure dressed in a white robe approached him in a forest and handed him a Bible.

"When I told my father I had become a Christian he just stared at me without speaking. Then he said: ‘From now on, you are not my son. Go to those people, let them feed you and give you a home — we’ll see who cares for you’," said Amin.

He left town, stopped his studies and now lives from translation work offered by a Christian missionary group.

Response: Thousands of Muslims are coming to Christ every year through dreams and visions. It is a radical decision for these folks when they come out of the closet and declare their new faith in Jesus. All are rejected by their families, most suffer some kind of persecution, and many even face death.

These folk really know first hand what Christmas is all about and received the gift of his Son Jesus regardless of the consequences.            *Top

I just read this article over the weekend in the June 2008 Charisma mag.:  "A Martyr’s Cry"  by Joel Kilpatrick.  Wow!, it is a must read for those interested in true revival.

It is the story of Haik Hovsepian, the Iranian AG leader who was martyred for his faith. It is a story about a land that has made it illegal to convert from Islam, however, Christ has different plans for Iran and like China, the Gospel is spreading at a phenomenal rate in this country, totally hidden from view.

Right now Iran is experiencing one of the greatest revivals of modern times–due to supernatural phenomena such as dreams and visions. A few short years ago there were only a few thousand Christians in the country, now there are 200,000+!

According to Carl Moeller, president and chief executive officer of Open Doors USA:

“Iran remains one of the worst places in the world for a Christian to live out their faith, preceded only by North Korea and Saudi Arabia,”

“The abuse of Christians, literally, in the justice system is legendary. Christians do not have the same rights as the other Islamic citizens. They are routinely discriminated against, restricted, and in many cases when they seek to evangelize and disciple, church leaders are arrested, interrogated, tortured and even killed for their faith in Jesus Christ.

“However, the church there is growing incredibly. In Iran there is a revival that maybe is only rivaled by the Chinese revival [of recent years]. Honest, seeking Muslims are having dreams of Jesus Christ.

“Some are being approached by what we can only call angels in parks and being confronted with their personal sins and told they need to come to Jesus Christ. It’s a revival the likes of which we’ve rarely seen in the history of the church. It’s been Holy Spirit-driven through dreams and visions and the technology available to us in the 21st century.”

What an incredible turn of events and totally unprecedented in an Islamic country, praise God! I can’t tell you how encouraging this is to me at this time, thank you Lord.            *Top

According to Yasmin, she was harassed on the street, and disowned by her family. Her husband hired thugs to beat her up and planned on having her killed. She finally moved out to another part of the country with her children in secrecy. Her husband tracked her down and tried to take the children, objecting to them being raised by a Christian. Here are some excerpts of her experience:

"He continually intimidated and harassed me and hired someone to beat me in the street. Wherever we went there would always be a car following us and watching us."

"Everyone in the local Muslim community knew I was a Christian and didn’t want to know me. People would cross the street rather than greet me and often spat in my face. They tried to pressure me to leave town. But I had already been chased out of one town so I was determined not to let them intimidate me."

"One of the most difficult things about becoming a Christian from a Muslim background is losing your family. There are such tight family networks in our communities. If someone becomes a Christian then they are considered to bring shame on the whole family and the only response is to cut them out of the family."

Response: I hear of and read that more and more Muslims are converting to Christianity through Visions and direct experiences with Jesus. This is becoming common, particularly in Muslim countries that outlaw conversions and missionaries.

What is really incredible about this story, and the surprising and stunning punch line is this—Yasmin lives in the UK!

We really do need to remember to pray for Yasmin and her children. Also, for all the others like her who have converted and face persecution and even death for the sake of their faith in Jesus.             *Top

We left off talking about how incredible it was that 6 million Muslims are said to be coming to Christ every year. Sheikh Katani was sounding the alarm on an Al-Jazeerah interview.

As great as that sounds, I am actually looking for more than 100 million Muslims to be converted from every Muslim nation. Now that sounds nearly impossible. Nevertheless, our God is God and our Lord is Lord over all. Even over the principalities and powers of Islam.

Shortly after 9/11/01, I had one of the clearest and most incredible experiences that I have ever had with the Lord. I was sitting in my easy chair watching the aftermath coverage on TV one evening, and I was casually asking the Lord why he allowed such a tragedy to happen to our nation, and I was wondering about the future.
The next thing I knew I was in the midst of an open vision. I was on a hill overlooking an ancient city with an army attacking the walls. Then the trumpets blew and the walls and the gate at the front of the city came a tumbling down and the army advanced into the city to conquer.

Then the voice of the Lord spoke to me: Do you know what you are seeing?

I said: Yes, It’s Jericho.

Then the Lord said: No. It’s Islam. The prince of Islam has exceeded his authority. Soon there will be a new crusade, not a crusade of spears and swords, but of the Sword of the Spirit, of healing and miracles, of signs and wonders; and 100 million Muslims are going to come to me as the firstfruits.

When I was back in my easy chair I started thinking about 100 million and how impossible that seemed. Yet that was only supposed to be the ‘firstfruits’ of the harvest? Does this mean that 100 million Muslims are going to come to Christ, but that is just the beginning of a greater harvest? Wow. I believe that is the message of the vision. Praise God!

As with any spiritual gift, one should always use discernment and I submit this message to you with that qualification and understanding.

One Hundred million Muslims converting to Christianity sounds rather improbable doesn’t it. After all, most Muslim countries are closed to missions and many do not allow conversions from Islam. I know how it sounds; I have been living with this idea for over five years now and have only dared to mention it publicly on two occasions. Yet that word and figure came to me in one of the clearest and most incredible experiences that I have ever had with the Lord.
One hundred million is such a large number considering the circumstances and my faith for it is so inadequate, yet I have continued to pray and look for the beginning of major revival among the Muslims. Nearly five years passed before I began to see the seeds of revival. In the last year, evidence for the beginning of a Muslim revival finally began to sprout to the surface:

In July 2006 I read an incredible report from Heidi Baker of Iris Ministries in Mozambique quoted on The Revival Blog. It told of Healing, miracles, and hundreds of Muslims coming to Christ. My hope stirred within me.

Later that month I read an article in the July issue of Charisma Magazine: “Uganda’s Miracle” by Kyalo Nguku. It tells about a major move of God in the Southern part of Uganda, Africa. In the 1970’s, Idi Amin murdered between 300,000-500,000 people in an attempt to convert the nation to Islam. In response, God raised up Christian leaders who began a movement of intercession and a ministry of healing and miracles. Today, the move of God is reaching into the highest levels of the Ugandan government, the church is growing at a phenomenal rate, and Muslims are beginning to come to Christ. What a reversal.

Then in August and September there were two articles in Charisma Magazine that gave me real hope for a greater Muslim revival. First article was “The Muslim Who Heard God’s Voice” (August 2006), the story of Evangelist Christopher Alam. I believe that soon God will be calling out 1000′s of Muslims like Alam, in miraculous ways, to bring revival among their people.

The second article was “Storm In The Desert” (Sept. 2006). It started out this way: “More Muslims have come to Christ in the last two decades than in all of history. God is orchestrating a profound miracle in our generation.” The article went on to say that over 522,000 had been converted to Christ. That seemed incredible at the time and a real boost to my faith.

Then over the last weekend in February (2007), I read two posts which really do seem to confirm the beginning of major revival among the Muslims. First I received the following article from Charisma+online by J. Lee Grady, from his Fire In My Bones column (To read the article go to Archives at the top and click down to: 02-23-07 “A Radical New Sound in Indonesia“).

According to Grady, more than 60,000 churches have been planted in Indonesia in recent years. Also, Christians in 500 cities in the country have organized “prayer altars” where believers will storm heaven for a national revival. All of this is happening in the largest Muslim country in the world.

Then I visited the Revival Blog and found the You Tube Al-Jazeerah’s interview with Sheikh Ahmad Al Katani, the president of The Companions Lighthouse for the Science of Islamic Law in Libya. He claimed that in Africa, every hour 667 Muslims converted to Christianity. That everyday Islam lost 16,000 Muslims, and every year over 6 million Muslims were coming to Christ. The video ended with a long line of Africans being baptized in a river by Heidi Baker. Praise God, what an incredible video. (Note: The video only lasts a few minutes, well worth seeing)
So the Muslim revival is beginning in Africa and Asia, but I believe that it will spread to every Muslim nation and people. The Gospel will be preached in a major way to every Muslim nation, even in places like Saudi Arabia where it is illegal. 6 million a year is a great start but I believe that there is more to come. …To be Continued…
